Superb LP From Lidell. Everything from bent dancefloor wobblers, chewed up jungle beats, drones to murky blues funk.

Jamie Lidell's release Muddlin Gear serves as a good answer and a prime example as to what electronic music standards fit the niche. Lidell's sound rests on the thicker side of IDM, with Muddlin Gear's heavy programming and clustered, scattered samples and sounds. The music is chunky, dense, and layered, reminiscent of a child with a severe attention disorder. On the other hand, it is also intelligent, as its style and quality fit no mold. Multiply is a studio album by Jamie Lidell. It was released on Warp Records in 2005. Unusual for Warp, which for many years released mainly electronic music, the album has much in common with soul and funk music. Pitchfork placed it at number 189 on their list of top 200 albums of the 2000s. Jamie Lidell - Muddlin Gear 2000. To favorites 0 Download album. Listen album. Electronic Experimental. Jamie Lidell. So where does Jamie Lidell's debut album, Muddlin Gear, fit Upon first listen, all but those of you who wake up to Merzbow would term Muddlin Gear unlistenable spunkjazztossfrenzyfuckshite, and would prefer to deal with a suppurating glans rather than suffer a rewind of that spastic electronic crap. But let me tell you, a burst bell-end is a whole lot less enjoyable than Muddlin Gear. I agree that, initially, Lidell's record is a tempest of fuzz, 220bpm jungle beats, and interplanetary lounge jazz. But once you get past the gag reflex, you can delve deeper into the album's tight constructions which only seem to blast apart. Muddlin Gear is a music album by Jamie Lidell released in 2000. Jamie Lidell's first solo album was a very noisy, glitch affair. Lots of sound bursts and queasy beats and producer Jamie Lidell became as widely recognized for his effective neo-soul vocals and performances as for his earlier career as a producer of groovy experimental techno. Muddlin Gear is a complete mind warp of an album. Its incessant use of effects and DSP alongside highly cut apart samples and fragments of ideas is the driving force of its scattered tracks. And somehow it manages to make a weird sort of sense out of itself, into a very clear and concise, despite occasionally confusing, end result. This album is nothing like Jamie Lidell's later album Multiply, which I loved from the first moment I heard. Jamie Lidell 컬렉션을 완성하세요
