Alongside the single Seven Bridges Road, a gospel-tinged showcase for the band's peerless harmonies, the their take on Joe Walsh's solo hit Life's Been Good is infused with a sense of playful decadence. Eagles Live was mixed by Glenn Frey and Don Henley on opposite coasts in Los Angeles and Miami, respectively, and as producer Bill Szymczyk put it, the record's harmony and instrument fixes were made courtesy of Federal Express.
